Immunizations/Vaccinations

Immunizations and vaccinations are given to both adults and children by Public Health Registered Nurses and by trained paramedics of the Emergency Medical Services division in the event of a mass vaccination clinic.

All vaccinations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are available at the Nursing Office/Community Resource Center in Idaho Springs. These include tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis A and B.

Normally immunizations are given by appointment or on a walk-in basis at the Community Resource Center in Idaho Springs during regular business hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. (Closed from noon to 1 p.m.) Appointments are suggested to ensure vaccine and staff availability. Call 303-670-7546 to make an appointment.
