   Please use this form to submit a Short Term Rental Application for a New Permit or to Transfer an active permit.

   STR Permits/Transfers take at least 7 calendar days to process.

   The Assessor's Office must process the Sale Paperwork before you apply.

   This means you will not be able to apply for or receive your permit the same day you close on your property.

15. At this time, there is a waitlist for Absentee Short Term Rental Permits.

     The maximum number of Short Term Rental permits permitted is 4.5% of county residences, which equals 161 permits in 2024. The waitlist consists of about 10-13 properties at any time.

    2.  subject parcel boundaries
    3. location of residence
    4. location of appropriate parking spaces
    5. location of any outdoor garbage storage areas
    6.  location of snow storage areas
    7. location of any outdoor cooking/fire facilities
