Patrol
The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division provides deputies to patrol the unincorporated areas of Clear Creek County, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with quality law enforcement services. Our primary function is to enforce the laws of the nation, state, and county, within the limitations of police authority and constitutional rights. Deputies respond to emergencies and requests for assistance, as well as enforce criminal and traffic laws. We are continuously available to:
- Respond to calls for service
- Deter criminal activity
- Detect, apprehend, and process persons involved in criminal activity
- Ensure safe and expeditious movement of traffic
- Protect property; Recover and return lost or stolen property
- Provide follow-up investigation of offenses when required
- Identify and help mitigate hazards to the safety of the community
We strive to protect and improve the quality of life for the citizens of the county by reducing crime. We work with individuals, groups, agencies, businesses, schools, and others to identify problems and implement solutions. Our effectiveness is directly related to our trusting relationship with the members of our community.
